Naqsh-e Rajab is not a city. It is not even a village. It is a royal tomb, at least it is believe to have been a tomb. It is located few kilometres from the majestic Persepolis, and it is believed to be of a similar age to this ancient city. The quality of this site are four superb reliefs carved in the solid rock. The state of presservation of these reliefs is phenomenal and one could just sit there and look at them for hours. A truly magical place. Entry was 2,000 rials (€0.16) in 2008. [edit text][editors]
