Views over Runaway Bay Runaway Bay is not a typical village on the coast of Jamaica. It is located between Discovery Bay and Montego Bay and is home to many multi-million dollar beachfront houses, many of which are available for rental. There isn't much souvenir shopping in the area either, mostly just for every day items. There are quite a few hotels, bars and roadside restaurants. I can’t remember the name of the bar I frequented, but they are so cool, with a very relaxing atmosphere (just off the main road, past the bridge), and the obligatory reggae music playing in the background.
