Tournai - Belgium, Hainaut In the Museo del Prado, Madrid, we have many lovely Van der Weyden works, especially his main masterpiece De Kruisafneming, or Descent of Christ from the Cross. He was born in Tournai. This monument is located in front of the cathedral. The motive is very appropriate these days, close to the birthday of Jesus Christ.
