Yazd - Iran, Yazd The main grinding stone technology has been upgraded - it is now moved by an electrical engine and not a camel... This smiling young man at the stone is a poor Afghani refugee, who struggled to get a legal employment in Iran, despite of getting a legal asylum status in the country. Despite the hardship, he was good humoured, genuinely friendly, warm-hearted and a great help to me while organising my visit in Yazd.
