Lake Como of Lombardia in northern Italy, about one hour drive from Milan, is famous for its spectacular views. The villages, municipalities and towns are full of colourful houses, mansions, villas and palaces perched on slopes of the Alps surrounding the lake. In the autumn, when the leaves turn from green to yellow, gold, red and brown, they add even more colours to the scenery.
