Peninsula Valdes is UNESCO-listed as a natural heritage of this planet. It is home to various species of sea mammals: migrating whales, sea lions, sea elephants, seals, dolphins, as well as land fauna. Punta Tombo is one of the northernmost largest colonies of the Magellanic Penguins, which reportedly come in millions to nest and reproduce. The gateway town are: Trelew and Puerto Madryn.
