Cornwall is one of England's most picturesque regions. In the past it was home to a different nation, and even today some claim that the Cornish language could rise from its deathbed. The cliffs on the norther-western side of the peninsula are extremely photogenic, and a great place for long walks. The romantic little villages and towns at the coast, to which all other coastal towns could only aspire to be so nice. There is also the Saint Michael's Mount, a sister property to the larger one, of the same name (but in French) in northern France, almost directly across the English Channel (Canal La Manche). Cornwall also enjoys Britain's most agreeable climate.
