The restaurant attached to this lodge was excellent! All products were fresh, delivered from mainland daily, by one of the owner's boats. French-inspired West African dishes started from XAF4,000, fish skewers were XAF8,000, prawns XAF10,000 and lobster XAF15,000 - all served with a choice of rice, fried, baked potato or courgettes. Other items on the menu included whole fried fish XAF8,000, fish carpaccio, chocolate mousse (XAF4,000), creme brullee (XAF4,000), fruit salads...
It was so good that it had day trippers coming from the mainland for lunch! And the island's residents always filled up the venue at weekends.
