Bab Al Bahr
Relatively standard rooms for about LYD 60 for a single and LYD 70 for a triple, are just fine. They are clean and resemble style for a regular business hotel. There is nothing special about it. The personnel was helpful and friendly but not too much. It was very close to the beach, which was completely empty. It was effectively walking distance from the old town, if one could face bearing the traffic. I would not stay there again, though. more
Athar Restaurant
Superb location, atmospheric placement by the ancient arch, great menu, fresh fish - the best tables are outside overlooking the arch. If there is a man playing the synthetiser, ask him to stop - he is not very good. more
Venezia
Fabulous restaurant in the Corinthia Bab Africa Hotel serves delicious pastas for LYD 10. Perfect! Also on Fridays, they serve incredible brunch buffet for LYD 25 - well worth it. more
Bab Al Bahr Restaurant
Terrible dishes served as a set menu for LYD 15. Really something to avoid at all cost. Brrr. The food was either undercooked or over cooked. Although it was included in my 'package' I could not stand eating there. I preferred the local cafes serving shawarmas. more
Ship Sea Meals
Excellent place for fresh fish. You select the catch from many fishermen stands before you enter the restaurant, and the restaurant in conjunction with the fishermen and the fish grillers, prepare the meal. Unbelievable! more
