Member opinion: Branded as Britain's Oldest Brewer, this great pub, right at the back of the Greenwich Market, is spacious, has a fire place and a semi-circular bar, stocked with unusual and usual English bitters and ales. Standard lagers and beers are also available, so are some stouts and droughts. This is one of my favourites. I go there always when I have visitors at my places and we go to see Greenwich. Now, as it is illegal to smoke in closed public spaces, it is splendid to sit there and reflect on life, the universe and everything.
