Copernicus statue's by louis

Torun - Poland The statue of Nicolaus Copernicus is standing in the main square of the city. He was born here and spend a childhood here. In the old town still is a house were he was born.

Copernicus was a great man, and the street on which the house where he was born stands is now called Copernicus Street, but at the time of his childhood, it was the St. Anne Street... I miss Torun, one of Poland's UNESCO-listed cities!
