A Day in Mid Valley Megamall

  16 votes
Come discover a larger than life shopping experience. Stroll through 5km of shopping, leisure and dining choices. With more than 430 shops on five and a half floors. A mind-bogging selection for all !

Located at Lingkaran Syed Putra, Kuala Lumpur, Mid Valley Megamall is a part of a big project of making that area into a centre of commercial and residential. For the first time, three of Malaysia's most successful anchors - Carrefour, Jusco and Metrojaya reside in the same shopping mall. It also houses Asia's largest Cineplex, Gym, state-of-the-art Bowling Centre, a One-Stop IT Centre, and Malaysia's largest bookstore.

To Get There

KTM Commuter
- station: Mid Valley

PUTRA LRT
- station: Bangsar
- there is a free shuttle service from Bangsar station to Mid Valley every 15 to 20 minutes

BUS
- I not quite familiar with the bus route. However there is a complete list of bus routes that go to Mid Valley Megamall at this website. http://www.midvalley.com.my/bus-schedule--.cfm

Go to http://www.midvalley.com.my for more information.

Operation Hours: 10am-10pm

Favourite spots:
MPH Bookstore

MPH Bookstore
Being the largest bookstore in Malaysia, it has a wide variety of books in three main languages in Malaysia, with English books being the majority. Uncommon to bookstores in Malaysia, MPH Bookstore in Mid Valley provides Internet access and has a coffee shop at one of the entrances. My favourite is the little fountain garden in situated at the middle of the store. Sitting on the bench surrounding the fountain and reading my favourite books is one of the best experience I have.

I'm not the kind of person who like to shop. However, I'm pretty sure that someone who loves shopping will find it very fulfilling to shop in MidValley. Featuring various international brand like U2, Gucci, Giordano, Body Glove, Studio G, Padini, Renoma, and mony more. Besides apparel shops, there are tons of gifts and souvenirs shops where you can find the perfect gifts for your loved ones at a relatively low cost.

Dave's Deli
There are many restaurants in Mid Valley. Besides two food courts, I especially love Super Sandwiches and Dave's Deli located at Lower Ground floor. For both of them, the food is delicious. The service is friendly. And the environment is ideal for a relaxing meal after hours of shopping.
