The YMCA is basic and clean and within walking distance of the city centre. Meals are available if notice given. The power supply generally lasts from 7-12pm although it sometimes cuts out earlier. Water supply can also be a problem, especially on the top floor. However, the staff are friendly and helpful!
Be aware that a church meets in the conference room on the top floor and be prepared for noise from the City of Rest next door. Great views of Freetown from the balcony.
