Autumn Fruit's by marianne

Mahdia - Tunisia, Mahdia October is the pomegranate season. They look like Chinese lanterns and are utterly charming and tasty. I had never seen them on trees, but just outside Mahdia there were lots of pomgranate trees. I bought some in a small shop, they were juicy and sweet.

adampl - Nov, 16 2007 06:11pm Marianne, excellent shot. This reminded me my trip to Montenegro. I was so surprised there are pomegranates grown there. I had always thought they grow in warmer climates like the southern coast of the Mediterranean Sea. zrusseff - Nov, 16 2007 06:11pm Marianne, how voluptous & colorful they are!!
