Cobblestones and patterns 1's by marianne

Prague - Czech Republic, Hlavni Mesto Praha Prague pavements and streets are exquisite works of art. Some are cobblestones others are masterpieces of inlaid mosaics. Look down and discover the different geometrical figures. Have a good look at the cobblestones in this picture. They are quite hard on the feet. That's why it is sensible to wear shoes with rubber soles. This is Staroměstské náměstí, or Old Town Square and in the background the St Nicolas Church, or Kostel sv. Mikulas. (Don't let names confuse you as there is another St Nicolas Church in Malá Straná, across the river.)

Travel photography needs opportunity, skill, patience, luck, equipment, software and publishing. All these are shown here very well! And a good hint about the two St Nicolas churches in Prague. First, I was a bit confused with my guidebook but sorted it out promptly.
