Everest - a tribute to Sir Edmund Hillary's by mistybleu

Everest - Nepal Sir Edmund Hillary, died at the age of 88 (19/07/19-11/07/08), made it to the summit of Everest in 1953 and became the first man (and his sherpa) on the planet to reach its highest point. Whilst I didn't climb Everest (the peak of Everest seen in the background), my desire to see it stemmed from his great achievements.
