Located in Central Jakarta, Alila Jakarta is near many historical landmarks including the Presidential Palace and the heart of the city’s business district. It is a really pleasant 3* hotel that has aspirations of becoming a 4*. The main restaurant serves a grat breakfast that is a mix of Indoesian and International. The chef can cook a mean omelette. The worst thing about this hotel is the location, it's just behind the presidents residence but the street is full of mechanics, car repairs and dealerships. Then in the evening the street turns into a line of local restaurants. Located on tehe 6th floor is the pool and gym. The gym is well equipped. This really was a wonderful place to stay
