The Hotel New York is about a 4-minute walk to the Disney village with all the shops and restaurants, and only a 10-minute walk to the park entrance. The hotel is designed as a New York skyscraper and inside there is a lovely feel of the big apple. The rooms are art deco in nature and everything inside is branded Disneyland (I took a souvenir bar of soap). I had a room that overlooked the lake (aka Lake Disney) and ice rink I don’t care how old you are, when you get there you have to immerse yourself into the fantasy that is Disneyland.
