Lac Viet is a new hotel located in the Pham Ngu Lao backpacker neighbourhood. The facilities are basic but good and included free internet access and wifi. The breakfast is really basic and whilst I like the try local food the noodles soup really won't nice. The rooms are clean but they do have (like most hotels in vietnam) rooms without window. They call these standard rooms and are a little cheaper. The location is good also, as there are many shops restaurants within easy walking. Not bad for a 2* hotel.
