To get to Robben Island the forma prison where Nelson Mandela was incascerated for 27 years you have to get the V&A waterfront, near the Clock Tower, where they sell the tickets. It cost RND150 that includes the ferry ride to the island, an hour bus tour around the island followed by a guided tour (by one of the previous inmates) of the prison. The whole journey last around 3.5 hours.
