Salisbury Cathedral |

No charge to enter, but it is suggested that you pay £4.00, which coincides with two cashiers at the entrance. Nonetheless this is a wonderful example of 13 century architecture. Built between 1220-1258 it has the tallest spire in the UK and also houses the oldest working clock and the best preserved Magna Carta. There is also a nice cafe in the grounds which serves some lovely traditional English food.
