Member opinion: Starting from the stoneage around 12000 BC and continuing through the bronze age, roman and medieval times, one can follow ancient history of southern Germany. Seeing the artifacts discribed in books here LIVE is quite amazing. Complimentary to the permant displays are specials. Currently on view till mid-March 2007 are items borrowed from the archeological museum in Naples in a well presented theme "Last days of Pompeii".
