Member opinion: This city park is the largest of any worldwide, almost as large as Hyde Park (London) and Central Park (New York) put together, and the southern Isar green belt conscidered seperately! There are two rewarding stips in the park: The "Chinesische Turm" and "The Fischerhaus", both highly recommended to get a bit of fluid back into the body after miles of walking :-) I read that that the Chinese Tower was erected in 1790 and when bombed in WW2 rearected in 1952! There is a very fancy restaurant www.chinesische-turm.de that I have not yet tasted, preferring beergarten atmosphere outside.
