The main entrance of the Etosha National Park is called the "Andersson Gate" and is situated near the Okaukuejo Restcamp in the south of the park. On the eastern side of the pan is the Von Lindequist Gate and the closest restcamp is Namutoni.
In Namutoni the old fort still remains, and was renovated in 1957 to a lodge. Namutoni also has a small village but the park's standard this restcamp has less facilities that the other two. [edit text][editors]
