Tasman Glacier is the largest glacier of New Zealand, measuring 29km by 9km and is located on the South Island in the Southern Alps, flowing SE to the Tasman River. It is one of the best locations for skiing. A must-do is to climb the Tasman Mt for a view of the glacier. [edit text][editors]
