How long would it take approx. to travel by bicycle? This is a new thread for bicycle Meditterean. It is to be used for information gathering on this subject only. Information may include websites of similar experiences, route measurements, planning sites (hosts, tips,must go to places etc.)As a content-rich thread, we do not want any back-and-forth or questions. Certainly Libya and Algeria would be need to be frog-jumped a bit, perhaps flights for Algiers-Tunis and Tripoli-Alexandria. A general (extensive) description at www.indopedia.org/Mediterranean_Sea.html gives the coastline as being 46000 km (~28,750 miles) long and covering 22 nations. I suppose the roads linking the coastal cities (and except islands) are about half that distance.
