ta-shy Joined: Jun 02 Points: 4110 Posts: 170 Posted: 2005-06-05 18:36:00    Good health and high spirits all! back in the day I did numerous postings on different subjects, I'm wondering whether or not there is a way to access some of these without having to go through all the different posts in all the subjects, seeing that I don't remember where I posted the subject. update.... I found the info I was looking for in my post. However, this does bring to question, is there a way to archive what a member has posted on their members page? Or, the search option give options: - search country - search places - search subject (all text to pictures and reports) - search forum - search member (name also in forums and comments) - search ALL (whole database and contributions) That I suppose is technically and very challenging to Staff. Another solution and new feature would be a "Site-Map" where in the case for Forums the titles would be simply listed, all on one page (currently only 20 per page). One could then glance easily down through all of them or use the browsers option "Search for word on current page" (deutsch: "Im aktiven Fenster Suchen"). In both cases entering one's nickname should also then find results like entries/comments to reports and those in the forums. A third option was for Staff to couple-up with a search engine provider. Entering for example say "globosapiens forum whereisliz" or "globosapiens forum ta-shy" would then find the members contributions in the forum (or other).
