We all have plans to travel again, tell us here where you plan to go next or where you would like to if you could! I'll start....

In 3 years my hubby, daughter and son-in-law are planning to travel to Germany and make a trip around the Alps, visiting Switzerland, Austria and Italy along the way.... All that yummy scenery and chocolate!

South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Tanzania, Kenia, Ethiopia, Sudan, Egypt --- ferry to Italy, France, Barcelona.

Yeah! what a dream. Go back home by overland in around 5/6 months.

Now i´m just dreaming but ... will see.

Dani!

My dream would be to go to Argentina! I'd like to visit the whole country, the big cities and the countryside, the mountains, the Pampa, Patagonia.....and why not visit Chile, Peru, Colombia.....I have no set plan right now as hte situation in Argentina and Cplombia is not really stable but I still dream of going there, as soon as possible....

...*sigh* dreams can come true at times, can they?

PS: Dani, this may sound a bit rude and you don't have to answer this but could you please tell us the story of why you're not exactly Spanish? Thankee! :)

Yeah, I like all those places. It's so hard to choose a holiday destination sometimes, isn't it? Especially when you want to go EVERYWHERE.

Always wanted to visit Patagonia, Egypt, Zanzibar, Bhutan and...well...where do you stop!

But the next planned trip is one that I've been looking forward to for a few years:

* Returning to Venice (out of season) to explore some of the out-of-the-way islands in the lagoon. Then down to the Ligurian Coast for...

* Hiking in the Cinque Terre - once again, out of season thank God. After a short boat ride I'll be...

* Exploring the Poet's Coast of Liguria - delightfully untouristed and historical. Then I'm up for...

* Hitting the beaches, old towns and archaeological sites of Sardinia...

* And, last but certainly not least, running amok in Corsica - ever since I've read about this extraordinary "mountain in the sea", I've wanted to visit.

That'll do it for now. I can imagine I'll get enough material for an update to GLOBO out of that lot!

Ahhh, so many places, so little time...my next dream trip starts Dec. 18. Fly to Sweden where I will be until May. Then to Warsaw, Poland working my way south to Romania, Hungry, Slovakia, Slovenia, Romania, Czech, Bulgaria, Turkey, Syria, Jordan, maybe Lebanon ending in Egypt...many of that may be cut out b/c of the money factor, but it all depends on how work goes in Sweden! Might just start in Bulgaria and head south. Still tentative.

Yes guys, I'm busy dreaming too....

My travel list depends on whether I get a long break (4-6 weeks) or a short break (1 - 2 weeks) from work. Gotta be nice to the boss.

Anyway the short list is: Fiji or Vanuatu for some serious diving or back to Bali and across to Lombock and the Gillies.

The long list although this is really an abridged version:

1. Vietnam - maybe do a bit of cycling to really get up close and personal

2. Spain - because I need to get back to where it all started after going to just about every other Spanish speaking country in the world:-)

3. Turkey - to see the history ie Gallapoli, Ephesus, Istanbul and so on

4. Seychelles - because it looks as close to heaven as you can get

5. Goa - a little slice of Portugal close to home

6. Belize and Costa Rica - reefs and rainforests

7. Egypt - to spend some time cruising on a felucca down the Nile

I could go on and on.....

Back to reality though for now.

Keep the inspiration going.

Cheers,

Kerrie

My dream destination? Probably my home town, Vancouver, Canada. But as far as other places I dream of traveling to, my list includes:

1) Bora Bora and Moorea, French Polynesia

2) Ko Samui, Thailand

3) Zanzibar, Africa

4) Fiji

5) Maldives

6) Greece - especially Crete

7) Nigeria (to see where half of my heritage comes from)

8) South Africa

9) Galapagos Islands (to appreciate wildlife...plus I loved the book Galapogos by Kurt Vonnegut...I must go there!)

10) Perhentian islands, Malaysia

I'd also like to revisit Tuscany in Italy, the south of France (le Midi) and the English countryside because I have many fond memories of summers past in those lovely regions.

Ahhh, to dream is to live.

I would want to visit the places very near to where I live before I think of other parts of the world. The South East Asian part and other parts of Asia.

1. China. My grandfather came from there and I've never been there. Hopefully I'll go to China real soon ^^

2. Korea. I'm learning the language and my friends are there. Nonetheless, I want to go there only when I am able to speak a little more fluently.

3. Thailand, Myanmar, Vietnam, Cambodia... they are so beautiful and so many things to see.

Jane,

Don't you want to go to Indonesia? It near to where you live.

China is high on my wish list as well, but it is not near to where I live. I would like to go to Shanghai. Another country I would like to visit is Taiwan, but I like its old name, Formosa, much better. Sound far more poetic to me. I oftne think the 'old' names are more interesting. The same hold good for Ceylon, far better than Sri Lanka.
