Member opinion: If you arrive late in the day it may be difficult to find accommodation in Panaji. Hotel Avanti, near Patto Bridge (just across the bus station) is a cheap option. The owners are very friendly, a compensation for the bare rooms, without facilities. Rs 300 (€7 ) for a double is the only thing that may make you smile.
