Along all coast there are many sand beaches for every taste. From big public beaches full of summer contains to little hidden beaches for those who wants peace and loneliness. Along every beach are stretched long rows of green pine woods which give nice shadow in warm summer days. Sea except its beauty and brightness gives wonderful view inside the see which is full of animal and vegetable life. After daily pleasure of Makarska coast, special feeling gives the night. Sunsets on beaches of Makarska gives an indescribable feeling because of its beauty. Except natural beauty which gives see and beaches of Makarska, there is also a big choice of summer substance. From various activities for young population there is also activity for older: jet-ski, surfing, windsurfing and parachute driving.

Disco club DEEP - situated in natural cave few meters from sea, plays only Electronic music. Disco club GROTTA - situated in natural cave few meters from sea, plays Rock and Dance music. Disco club OPERA - situated 500 meters from town center, plays Dance music.

Makarska offers amaizing sights on islands od Brach and Hvar... most beautiful thing is sitting on the beach at sunset and whatching the sun falling down behind islands ... Usually at that time sea calms down, only you can hear is sea teasing the sand ....

| Accommodations: |
Private accommodation in makarska are very good. But best places are usally full in the season, so good thing is to reservate least one month earlier. Under best places I mean those with great view at city and sea. Makarska is kind of uphill-town so it offers beautifull view.
All accommodations have air-cond, SAT-TV etc..
Prices are also very good, it depends on position you are but it's all in a 1000 meters. I reccomend site below, and also you are able to view prices.

Makarska along its rich daily offer gives large offer of night life which gives good joy for all statures and tastes. First place takes traditional organized fiestas like “fisherman night", "night of Kalelarga" and summer masquerade. Companionship to those big fiestas is many live concerts and boat fiestas.
Makarska is specially known as perfect place for young people. Many night clubs and disco clubs with music for all tastes gives perfect time. Among that there are many terraces and restaurants with live music for those who want romantic atmosphere.

On disposal are many summer activities which will make your vacation more fun. If you are wishful of sea activity on disposal are many clubs and schools which offer possibility of surfing, windsurfing, rowing, diving and jet-ski driving. All clubs contain basic training school for those who go into these sport activities for the first time. Above Makarska there is mountain Biokovo which offers extra activity and many other recreation and social things which will make up your vacation.

Restaurants are awesome. I specially liked Konoba "Ranch" in place near makarska called Tucepi. Very very special ambient with tradicional music and very good personnel. I reccomend go at sunset
