information about ethiopia  KaroEthiopia, Welega
Karo people is by far the most endangered tribe in Ethiopia. Between 750 and 1000 members only split in 3 villages. Those figures are below the sustainable level. Karo are living on the Omo river (seen in background), in very remote area, close to Sudanese border. They are pastoralists and famous for their body paintings.
