unusual pix of Angkor Vat...
old stones and dense vegetation are of course there, but my focus was on the strength and will one can feel in this monk's procession.
the next second, they vanished forever...

Excellent, especially the contrasts in color composition.

Thanks for your comment Joe!

Brilliant clarity and magic contrast between the background and the robes [4.5]

One of my absolute favourites...

I love the bright colours (Safron) against the grey stonework! Nice shots.

What a terrific shot! The colors, the background! Wow!

thanks for nice comments..more luck for me than real skill!

I agree with the comments about contrast and colour and it being a technically great pic, but I find the expressions of the monks disturbing. Two of them actually look angry to me. It makes me feel like they are beig violated.
Nobone else was sensitive to that or even noticed it.

Yes, the expressions are a little unsettling. Two of the guys seem to express disagreement and one - discomfort. Interesting photo indeed...

both of you are right! as you can see, no other tourists nor visitors on the pix..those monks were rushing through less visited galleries..we only met by accident, just the time for me to shoot and they vanished...maybe, they were as surprised as I was.

Right place, right time, right spirit.... and great contrast. I love it!!

They did not object to being photographed?

Another fabulous shot. As you wrote you met only by accident they look as they posing for you. And it is truth that none of them is smiling
