Ustka is a small (17,500 permanent inhabitants) on the coast of the Baltic Sea in Poland, about 150 kilometres west from Gdansk. For many years, it has been one Poles' favourite summer destinations. In recent years, it claimed an unofficial title of the Summer Capital of Poland. National weekly 'Polityka' has placed Ustka as the best and second best beach resort in Poland. In the summer this town transforms into a place of partying, chilling and making friends. In the winter, it is a sleepy little place, however not less romantic. Although there are not many historical monuments in town, apart from a lighthouse and a church, Ustka is positioned close to a very interesting open-air ethnographic museum in Kluki and Slowinski National Park boasting Europe's only moving sand dunes.
