Fred, what are charity abseils (btw, funny German word...)?

jacko1 - Feb, 15 2009 08:02pm
Ta very much Fred, I am a real nerd when it comes to it, I just have to know. For Petra, in answer to your question it entails tying your legs together wiith an elastic rope and jumping fro a very high place, if you don't die you have to give all your money to charity!.

Petra, you are right,it is a German word meaning to rope down, something that I have tried once, although not from the Finnieston crane I hasten to add!
