I was just wondering..... is the photo of you on the Merri-go-round.......that thing with the horse and the chair thingy.... is that in Fontainbleau??? I am a climber and Font is a mecca to us because of the Boulders in the Forrest there.... Check my pics out and you will see me in the chair thing......
i did use a filter ie blue polarasing to help give a better background.
btw, as for the locatin of this place, look for the provincec of Sichuan in China, the capital being Chengdu.
if you take any international flights to Chengdu, you have to connect by taking a domestic flight to Jiuzhaigou. Must add that its been done via one way by coach and one way by plane.
am in midst of writing a report. look out for it when it is published here. at least that will give you a clearer insight into this location.
btw. the best time to visit this place, is in autumn ie october. the destination is so popular with singaporeans, it cost under $1,000 (singapore dollars) for a 7 days package tour.

Hi Melissa! Looking through your photos and articles, I think we share some common interests, such as: taking pictures of food, visiting cemetaries, living in the Bay Area, and vegetarianism. I'm planning a trip to Central & South America, so thanks especially for your reports on Venezuela and Costa Rica. Keep sharing!!
I saw that you are from SF in CA. Is there any chance that we can see some pictures on your home town and surroundings? I would particulariliy be interested in learning more about how live is in California and and what the best places (but affordable) are to live in this "golden state". Are there some nice smaller cities along the bay not far away from SF, but not that bussy and crowded?
