I'm glad you enjoyed reading about Zanzibar. I prefer this site too, because it more 'homely'. The other one has become too big, too impersonal. Besides GLOB is far better for pictures.

When I began writing for Igo it was much nicer because the community was smaller. Now they are more commercialised. yet I met some nice cyber friends and a few of them came to Holland and we did some sight seeing.

There is also a kind of (very small) splinter group all interested in writing and improving their writing. So we formed a Yahoo group and submit our work and give and receive critique . This is a very good way of improving written work.

I think tout is not American nglish, mainly British. It is a persons who accosts you in the street and wants to sell bus tickets or anything else he has on offer. You can find them very often at bus stations (mostly in developeing countries) and they try to convince you that the guest house / hotel they reprresent is the best, which it is from their point of view as they will receive a commission (indirectly paid by the tourist). What is the american words for this?

Hello James,

thank you for your e-mail and the nice entry into my guest book. I will certanly let you know as soon as GLOBO v2 is stable enough for a main beta test. This is a couple of weeks ahead, but I can assure you it is worth waiting for it ;-) I have been working on the all new version since almost 6 months now. GLOBO v2 will make your reports shine even more!

Hi James,
Thank you for sharing your pictures. Boston is one of the places I would love to visit and now that i have seen your photos I know it is worth a visit. Newbury Street reminded me of European architecture and the pictures of 'appartment buildings ' could have been taken in london.

Thank you for the message in my guestbook. I'm honoured that you liked my photos. Wherever I am out look out for good compositions, whether I have a camera with me or not.

That's a great site. I suppose you have heard of Berlage, a famous Dutch architect. I like his style very much. Did you have a look at the website at The Hague: cityhall and library. I took some photos there as well, different ones. It is a very photogenic building. If ever you are in Holland you should have a look.

I read in the 'about me' section that your second language is Turkish. Did you live there?

Thank you for your answer in my guestbook. Your Rome trip must have been quite an experience. It was a greaty opportunity to meet Mother Theresa and a great pity she is no longer with us.
Did you ever go back to Rome?
