Thanks for your comments...

It's really hard to understand the poverty in Brazil. But there was very few street children around or it wasn't obvious that they were homeless etc.

It is however a fantastic city, and like you said if you're sensible you could have a great time and avoid crime.

I'm so glad I went because I would have missed out on some great experiences.

Hi there, I am not able to get online much, but I thought I would check out the globosapiens site that Ive been away from for so long. I was casually perusing the Greece pictures (where I am currently located) and found that you have some beautiful pictures up here! You have a great sense of light and composition and I quite enjoyed looking at some of the pics you have taken. I wish you happy travels and many more marvelous views!
