Delighted to see you have reached the dizzy heights of a top-ten globosapien! I have, as you know, loved reading your reports and looking at your travelogue pics. Thanks for reading my own reports and even more for your kind observations. Can't wait to read your report(s) on the Philippines!!

Thanks for your comment on my Cusco report. I lived there for a bit last year. It was quite a place! I was reading some of your reports as well- youäve been to some wonderful places. I´ve never been to Africa or Cuba, but they are high on my list of must-sees.
I see that you have quickly gotten involved in the travel community. Nce job. What are your favorite places (in the world), and why?
It'll be nice to meet you here if you come back. Of course I can take you to Ingenio, I'll go there today to prepare a kraft workshop. It's located in Nazca, about 30 minutes from the main city.
Hope I can also visit Belgium again, I have some good friends there. Not much beer for me but delicious pralines!

I don't go back to Alaska too often. Once a year or less even. Not by choice, mind you!, but work doesn't make the time for it as of yet. I actually currently live in Paris, France. I can't seem to change my residence on the globo site.
Have you been to Sharm? What a place. And the story with the ship is quite funny. The skipper ran the ship aground (obviously) and about ten or so years later, another ship ran into the gigantic mass that was already there! Don't know how they didn't see it. The crew then fled and are currently wanted for breaking international maritime law...funny stuff.

What great pictures! Being from Alaska and looking at your rafting pic's in southern Africa, makes me homesick!...what a great time it looks like you had!

Hi Alain,
Thanks for your coments. I'm glad you've been to Perú, so sorry you didn't go to Ingenio, maybe next time.
I did my masters' studies in Belgium, at the KULeuven. It was a very nice experience and a great country, much different than Perú.
Please do contact me whenever you need any advise.
Best regards,
Ingrid
