Manfred,
I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed your photos of Yosemite - it is one of my favorite places and Half Dome itself is a hike I take each of my children on when they turn 13.

Congratulations to your second Picture-of-the-Month! A good choice for the GLOBO start-page, amazing contrast & shadows. Specially welcomming during this hot summer, looks like a big vodka-on-the-rocks :-)

Bonjour Manfred,
I'm glad you had a great time in NF. They truly are the nicest people one can ever encounter.:-) Surely they are the nicest and most welcoming people in Canada.:-)I haven't been to NF yet, nor to St Pierre & Miquelon, but I"m planning a visit for next year in NF anyway. :-)
As soon as I have time, I'll take a look at your pictures. Iceberg are incredible aren't they? Did you see whales too? They're fantastic too.
My trip to Austria was cool. We were glad to leave Canada as we were having a lot of rain and cold weather, but we didn't escape it. Salzburg had the same weather..hahhah... I didn't even get a little tan even if I was outside most of the days. *chuckle*
As per the Moosehead brewery, they are situated a few blocks from where I live actually. :-) Their beers are sweet. They have different kind of Moosehead. I prefer their Canadian beer.
Talk to you soon
