... sorry about the differences with the rating system but as Andy has pointed out; the real ratin shows after a while when a LOT of members have rated. I always rate across-the-board and mostly (mostly!) according to the guidlines at:
I often got into trouble for attacking or targeting 5*+ raters and will keep an eye open too but the best way we can all keep GLOBO surviving as a very special travel site is to comment and you have done that with very effective results. Thanks!!!!!
Congratulations Boris for this. Seeing all your contributions and other awards over years has pleased a lot of us very much. I am a retired but not uncapable traveller but perhaps can visit California one day and experience it just like you have shown us in all your photography. Thank you so much!

Your vineyard series of pictures is true positive promotion for your state but then your other 600 pictures too. Andy seems to be having a hard time there but that is what travel is all about. Your region is still near the top of my travel wish list, well other than local trips, next after Costa Rica to visit relations perhaps?

Yes, that church is in a small village called Kostnice, a couple of kilometers away from Kutna Hora, a town about 100 km from Prague, in the Czech Republic.
THe whole church is decorated with bones of more than 40.000 people that lived closed to the city centuries ago. As in all feudal systems, they were given shelter and some privileges as a compensation for their lands and hard jobs in the country. When they died their bones were used in the church.
I will probably add some more pictures or even a slide since the place deserves some more...
