Hi Gloria
Thanks for your message. I confused singapore and shanghai... silly me when i wrote the legend to the picutre. Thanks for spotting and informing me.
As we were there with a travel group from Intrepid we were at some not so touristy places but I could never direct you there. For instance we ate Bejing Duck in a Hutong restaurant that maybe doesn't exist anymore...
I whish you a great trip

Yes, next week I will fly to Russia, like every winter use to do. You already know the reason why. I feel excited, as every time when I undertake a new journey.
You too will travel, China again, Hen Hao!
Take care and keep in touch.

Hi Gloria!
Thanks for your remarks. I would like to do a new slideshow... but I already have 2. (non-paying members cant get more, i think)
I will be posting extra pics and maybe rework the old slideshows a bit.
Cheers,
Maurice

You don't need a guide just take a one day tour and then you will know where you are at. It's a small Island/City and everyone will tell you how to get where you want to go.
The first time I went the Singapore Tourist Board sent me a guide named "The Underground Places You Should See". It came in a brown paper bag. I wonder if they still have it.

Looking for a Guide in Singapore
Posted: 2006-09-27 04:03 PM
Gloria,
India was maginificent (as you well know). I think is may be my favorite trip - I would do it again in a heart beat! I have already started my first report - I just need to finish it off and add pictures. I am a little nervous about writing on Jaipur and Agra - your reports are so beautfiul - mine will pale in comparison.
My Mother and Step-Father are taking a cruise around China and Thailand in November/early December. They are looking for a Guide in Singapore and also one in Bejing for half day each. I wondered if you might be able to suggest anyone or an agency I could direct them to.
Thanks!
Eire
