Gloria,
Beautiful photos especially the fisherman. I also like the desert and the 4-wheel drive. Vast expanse of sand is so impressive.

I really enjoyed viewing your album on Dubai. I especially liked the title one. I was thinking that Dubai is the only place whose most famous travel icon is a hotel. That's quite bizarre! But I would love to see it in personal and spend just one night to experience the finer things in life. Were you lucky enough to do so?

My profile picture is one of few pictures I have from my time in Venice last year, I thought I’d try something different with my profile picture – Thanks.

Take care, Amanda

Hi,
you made me look at my books: Jonathan Swift, Gulliver's Travels, Penguin,a satire about all aspects of humanity, Patrick E. Byrne, Witchcraft in Ireland, as you will travel in a country of fairytales, dwarfs and elves, you better are prepared, Walton's New Treasure of Irish Songs and Ballades, Part 1, 2, these songs are going to your heart, C.S. Lewis, The Screwtape Letters, it's a mirror of the human ego, funny, Heinrich Böll, The Irish Journal, maybe the title is different in English, it's a thank you to the the people of Ireland, Frank McCourt, Angela's Ashes, ISBN 0-684-87217-X, this is the newest, a story of an Irish childhood, made into a motion picture. Ireland is beautiful, haven't been there for quite a while but I treasure my memories. It's the light, what fascinated me. It propable has changeda lot now it became so rich.
Question: what is your workload?
Weather here is dreadful: it rains cats and dogs since days on end.
Take care

Hi Gloria!
The last months weren't - as we say - the yellow of the egg, means: weren't so good as I wished them to be. I had to see physicians, only to learn that all is in order. I got a new scanner and a diiferent telephon connection, took from D4ecember to May to get it, what my computer didn't like, so it broke down whenever I looked at it. But!!! I read several books by and about our new pope, very exciting reading. and then I came about a book about Genghis Khan, he is one of my favourite historic figures. And then I found a book about Myanmar, a novel, The Piano Tuner. In between I knitted a jacket and six pullovers. I didn't do so much travelling but I have been to the Netherlands for a long weekend. Now I am prepare my trip to Kyrgystan in June to go horseback riding and enjoy nature around the Issyk Kul.
What are you reading?
Take care.

Thanks for reading my report on Toronto; this was just the blue versions, the red report is due later.

No I jest, we just had a great few days; nothing over-the-top, that's more like me.

Take care

Hi Gloria

Thank you for reading and rating my Annecy report. As I said it was just an overnight but I liked it pretty much, I think I got the right message.

Have a great day

We would love to come back to Singapore and especially now that I know you. We might, not sure yet. We would like to go back to Indonesia and Silk Arlines has a good connection with Lombok. Or at least had.

Thanks for looking at my Symi photo. I am in the middle of writing a report, but I am in the middle of writing more report and finishing them takes ages.

I am glad you enjoyed Athens as much as I did, I went in the winter so weather was not that great, but it is a great city!
I love your pics on Dubai, it is amazing how quickly this city grew out of the desert!
Take care
Isabelle
