Dear Hugh,

Thank you very much, I am very pleased and somewhat surprised! Maybe I should start playing the lottery?!

All the best

Hi Hugh

Thank you very much for commenting on my pictures –In fact I have committed the cardinal sin of downloading twice the “cow grazing in the rice fields” shot. The first download was to Globo’s old truncated size – now I have downloaded the full original image of 1.8mb to hopefully get the true clarity The overloaded Farming picture was one that I misspelt when I uploaded it .

I am overwhelmed by all the friendly gestures from my fellow Globo’s following my recent site activity. I really must find time to spend more time on here again.

I have done a lot of travel in the past 12 months or so and hopefully will find the time to write about those trips and illustrate them with the pictures that I have taken. I also look forward to catching up with all my fellow Globo’s travel pages too.

Again thank you, with all good wishes,

Cheers,

Brit.

Dear Hugh,i know that you and Rudi got very disappointed with my recent upload of 3 images,of my bird, but i had done this only for the follow up intent, after i had made a comment on downundergal parrot image.

http://www.globosapiens.net/downundergal/picture-king-parrot-48387.html

I hadn't done this deliberately to get extra points (images had been deleted already),but only to show how African Grey parrots do look like and provide some interesting short information about this wonderful and very intelligent birds .I have no idea, why some members had rated all of this 3 images with 4*,i know it is much too high indeed. But i was not looking for any ratings at all, trust me.

Thank you very much for your understanding.

No courage required

Thanks for the thought, Hugh, but I went on a commercial trip with several other English speakers and the guides speak pretty well anything [I doubt that stretches to anything in these islands other than English - but you know what I mean.]
I never felt hte slightest hint of danger.
Cheers

Hi Hugh,

You know it is amazing, last Sunday we had 17 degree Celsius, we neither do believe, that it is snowing for two days now. It was just three days ago, when I took those sunny pics! Thanks for your comments, have a really good evening.

Hello Hugh,

it is good to know I took you back in time on a time-machine, although I am far from being Mr. Wells. The place we took the picture is untamed, beautiful, sure you'd like because it is how I imagine Ireland after my readings :)
Thank you for your lines. Have a wonderful day!

Thank you for your kind words

Hugh,

thank you for your kind words. Yes, the newspaper man passed by when we sat in a kind of cafe, having a coke before going back to Medellín. Such we were up-to-date when entering the plane. Indeed, a funny thing.

On the flight to Medellín we had this stopover in Quibdó. I found it amazing living such close to the river because it was two days after the tsunami in front of the coast of Peru and I don't know if the water could reach the town through the river if such an event happened close to the colombian coast.

Kind regards, Joe
