...nice new pictures, you have a very definite eye for catching certain unusual things in your pictures. Not only beautiful scenery and nature but situations and "african life" too. Your descriptions make me laugh sometimes: "african microwave" :-) Is that what they called a potjie in the old days?
I like your desert flower pictures, i'm still thinking of visiting Namaqualand oneday, it's the only part of the southern Africa I missed. The Saldanha region I know well, lived there for four months on a "business" project!

It tells so much of the climate and the wonder of two bright eyed flowers in the folds of the filligree almost like delicate metal work.

Sakkie,
They are lovely! You do a wonderful job of zooming in! I especially like the spikey one - I believe it is what we call Ice Plant - we have it here as ground cover along some sand dunes. I also like the bird's nest. Another BEAUTIFUL slide show!

Sakkie,
I enjoyed the Table Mountain slide show - lovely flowers at the end! Curious - what is the red building/tower several slides in? It is an interesting building.
