Welcome back and thanks for your compliments for my desert pics. We booked this trekking in Switzerland in a travel agency. They offer it in their catalogue as a group trekking, but it's also possible to book it just for 2 persons, as we did.
I' looking forward to more pictures from Bhutan.

Isabelle,
I stick with my Forum posting of a week ago - this has been an amazing month for photos and yours are no exception! These are wonderful! I hope you are putting together an album soon!

Isabelle, Thanks for the great information! I think we may narrow it down to Nepal - now that I have started looking at Bhutan, everything seems to point to it being pricey. Our flights are so expensive to start with that the cheaper, the better. Plus this time it is my oldest son's turn to go with me and he is a no frills guy who isn't put off by much.
Thanks - I am so looking forward to your reports!

Thanks for your message from Kathmandu. I returned from China last Saturday evening.
The trekking in the sand desert was very strenuous but we were rewarded with impressive landscapes and beautiful lakes. It was great! I Hope you enjoyed also your trekking to the everest base camp.
I'm looking forward to your pictures, till now there are almost no pictures about Bhutan on Globo
