we visit london last saturday and it was great. be happy to live there and enjoy the coming spring.

Very well done!
I am so happy for you, your first (not last?) MoM and 4th award here. You have worked hard in making GLOBO better with constant increadible contributions from many trips but recently made GLOBO an important source for new digital Himalayan photography.

HI Isabelle, writing French doesn't scare me. I speak a little, well enough to get by when I'm there. I read better than I speak. I suppose it’s a lack of confidence, but when I'm in France I surprise myself.

Your pictures are so nice; being at base camp must have been so exhilarating.

Oui, nous avons bien aime notre voyage en Chine. Cette fois -ci encore, nous avons ete impressionne par toute l'histoire riche de ce pays. Toute les differentes regions on differentes histoires et cultures. Nous allons surement y retourner. Une autre partie du pays va nous demontre une nouvelle partie de leur histoire, mais aussi c'est tellement different que c'est comme visiter un autre pays.

I think the flight isn't the problem, even places to stay are not as expensive, but the cost of living in the country, the food ... My hair stood up as I saw the prices in the restaurants, therefore it is more reasonable to turn to self-catering. Some places have cooking facilities.
I decided not to go to Mongolia this year, but to stay in the country and finally to visit my sister in Munich.
