I can't say I noticed anything particular about the landing, except the scenery. My ears always give me grief when landing and I tend not to notice anything else!

The scenery sometimes reminded us of Norway and sometimes of Scotland but it's very much their own.

Thanks for your comment on my Labrador report. Glad to read that you liked it.
If I can, before leaving to my next journey, I will try to write another report about Newfoundland Island and Leif Ericson, the Viking (Norwegian) who founded L’Anse aux Meadows 500 years before Columbus.

It is very difficult to write reports on the major cities of Europe but you have obviosly done it! I remember rating it only 4* but I am wrong in thinking that adventurous places must be so far from home :-) RR
