Hi,
I also want to thank you on your comment on my Myvatn report. Iceland makes great efforts to grow trees, although it takes a long time until they are really grown up trees.

Hi. I am not sure about the history of the Saxons in Romania or Transylvania, but if there was an exodus, it must have happened earlier than in 1990s. Romania was Hitler's ally during WWII - and before Transylvania, which was a separate state was ruled by Austro-Hungarian royal dynasties - they built those great palaces and cities like Brasov - maybe it is to do something with them.
I went to Transylvania in 2005. Rafal (louis) went more recently I think.

Hi. Yes, Somaliland was a great adventure! I would encourage people to have courage to go there. People are fantastic and the rock art is unbelievable.
I am planning to submit a few reports this month, too. Probably from less exotic places, but if you don't publish any in March, perhaps one of mine will stand a chance! Hahaha!! :)) But seriously, I hope you will write more from your travel - this is how I draw inspiration for my holiday plans.
