Congratulations JP for your Picture of the Month award! It is a wonderful (and a very sad) photograph. Turning it into B&W was genius.

for winning PoM. It is so well-deserved - for this extraordinary moving pic - and for all the fantastic photos from Ethiopia you are sharing with us! And thanks a lot for the profound information you give to all our questions. That's great, my friend! :)

I like your profile picture. The church was my favourite spot in Lalibela. The view of the valley from the top of the hill was really great for pictures.

Jean Philippe, your album about Ethiopia is splendid, beautiful pictures. You saw many fascinating men and you found out a lot about their life, the culture, customs. A little to you I am jealous ;-)))
Best regards,

Hi Jean Philippe,
I am really impressed by your Ethiophian photos, great journey you had. So many faces, so many emotions and so different world than our. I remember that after my journey to Ethiopia I started to appreciate things that and live that I have, and also I had a lot of respect to this people who live in poor but very often seems to be much more happy thatn we are.
Your pictures shows me also other thing - I remeber Ethiopia by places - they are georgeous - Lalibela, Lake Tana, Tys Yssat falls, Gondar .... But in some way I leave out people living there.
Merci encore une fois pour tes photos et j'espere voir beacoup plus photos de toi.

Forgive me, I didn't think that you only just returned from the trip. I know that feeling and I know that it takes some time to get things straight.

You really are secretive about your journey. Why did you take such an interest in those tribes? Why can't you write a bit more in your travel log? And what does GB mean?
As you see I have a lot of questions. You rearly made me curious.
