Center of the cultural world

Cairo was a special 3-day stop for me on my route between Johannesburg and Munich in 1996. To see the pyramids with ones own eyes makes the world seem a smaller place.

At the base

Cairo is the cultural and also geographical center of the globe! Here east meets west and north meets south. As a modern city, it has its own beautifull meening and way of life

Favourite spots:
On the top of the world with new friends.

The Nile, the pyramids and Sphinx, the markets and the tower on a island on the Nile.

What's really great:

A romantic evening with dinner and dance on one of many available boats is highly recommended.
